La storia di Sara

Sara is very nice and pleasant at the beginning of the interview to tell us about her experience in the Netherlands.

She chose this country to experience the adventure for various reasons. At first, she considered going to Germany, but the agencies she found did not give her enough confidence to make the decision for her.

On the Internet, she found TenS Holanda, and after reading her reviews, she decided to write in various Facebook groups made up of Spaniards in the Netherlands. She posted a message seeking opinions about the agency and many candidates who are there told her that they were happy and received good treatment from the agency.

This was essential for Sara to decide to live this adventure with us.

All of the above happened 3 years ago, then she returned to Spain and four months ago she decided that she had to live the same experience again.

Her objectives have always been: to grow financially, improve the language and live the experience.

To this day, she confirms to us that she arrived with zero English and now she speaks it fluently every day. She is also trying to learn Dutch, although she admits to us that it is complicated and at the moment she is picking up words.

As for the workplace, Sara is very happy. She started in a company where she was not very motivated either, but then we offered to change to another company and she could not be more satisfied with the change. Now, she goes every day to work with her friend Laura hers (previously interviewed).

They go to work by car, although she later uses a bicycle to do the shopping and tour the city.

On her days off, Sara tells us that they have had barbecues with friends, they also go shopping or just go for a drink downtown.

In short, she confirms that she has adapted very quickly to her country and culture, that she has not thought of returning to Spain for a season and she always recommends this experience to her friends, with whom she would be delighted to share this adventure.

We greatly appreciate that you have volunteered to conduct this interview and we sincerely hope that everything continues to go just as well.

La storia di Ivan

Coming from the beautiful Jaén, our today’s candidate, Iván, decided to embark on a new adventure in the Netherlands with the help of TenS Holland to remove a thorn that he had nailed for some time.

In fact, together with a friend, he had already left everything behind to move to Holland two years ago, however, what was going to be a great adventure ended up being a bad experience due to the management of the company.

Eager to return since he was in love with the country, he ran into us. Our international recruiter Lucia guided him throughout the process and found a perfect vacancy for Iván, in which he fit in and was comfortable. From the first moment he felt calm with us, because he fully trusted our services.

His first days in the Netherlands were very different from those of his first arrival, he tells us that this time he felt prepared for everything, the worst was over. In addition, he undertook this adventure together with his friend Carlos, so he was not alone.

He is staying in a large house with a garden that he defines as “a vacation spot”, and that he shares with a boy from Barcelona and a Canarian couple. At first, he clashed a bit with his colleagues since they had very different schedules, but they quickly resolved their differences. He’s really getting along with his colleague from Barcelona and together with his friend Carlos want to move on their own closer to work, where they feel very comfortable despite not speaking much English, because there is a very good atmosphere among all.

Unlike many other Spanish candidates, Ivan does not miss the good weather in southern Spain, he is a cold Andalusian. However, he misses his family, his friends and the fried fish.

Finally, he does not plan to put an end to this experience: “I want to spend a long time, whatever it takes since they give me the opportunity here that they don’t give me in Spain.” And the thing is, what would stand out the most from his life there is “how well one is at work.”

We wish you the best in this adventure, Iván, we hope you continue to enjoy it as much as you have until now.

And you? Would you like to live a similar experience? We will be delighted to receive you so that you can enjoy the same opportunity as Iván. Do not wait more!

La storia di Laura

Laura, a native of Sevilha and with a typical joy of her city, tell us about her experience in Holland. Laura was working in Sevilha, but her conditions were not satisfied. Details such as not to charge for the hours in which she has overtime, for a significant reason in her decision to move from her dining room.

So, in search of offers at InfoJobs, she found a vacancy to work in the Netherlands at TenS Holland. Happily, Laura has friends in the Netherlands, who have decided that she needed to do the bad things and live this experience.

She confesses that before landing, she had fears and doubts. She assumed that she was going to be all very negative and that she had to be strong. When she arrived, she was the opposite.

She highlights that she feels supported by the agency and that she has been very lucky with the people she has found there.

The first two weeks she had bad luck with her roommates, who did not respect the basic rules of coexistence. These were expelled and since then she lives with what she calls her family there. They are a group of friends who do everything together and help each other.

About her goals, Laura tells us the following: “My goal was to be very long-term, start a new life and grow. Finding accommodation in Holland is very difficult, but the agency helps a lot and with transport too. It is the push that you need to get started. “

She has never considered going back and having previously lived in London for a year, she quickly adapted to a similar culture in terms of food and sleep schedules.

In the workplace, Laura tells us that she has one week in the morning and the next one in the afternoon. He likes this because she allows him to organize and also, she allows him to have the weekends free. She also confesses to us that work is very tiring and there are days that it costs her a bit.

The positive is that her salary is good, she works at least 40 hours a week, they pay her overtime and they are happy with her.

Right now, she prioritizes enjoying this time there, than the mere fact of saving.

Finally, she summarizes for us a normal weekend there with her friends. On Fridays they usually meet after work to have a drink and disconnect from work. On Saturday morning they clean up what they have stained the day before, pack their backpacks and go on a group excursion and discover the beauty of the Netherlands. Finally, on Sunday they make what they call: “family meal”. They all meet together and each one brings a meal to share with the rest. Isn’t it fantastic?

La storia di Jarbis

Jarbis wanted to live an experience abroad, and thinking in which country he could continue to grow and develop his future, he was clear that it must be a country where English was spoken very well. He then thought of the UK and the Netherlands, but he preferred the Dutch culture, and although they are not native, they have a great level of English.

Once the destination was chosen, he had to look for options to land there. He was getting information from various agencies and finally opted for TenS Holanda. Jarbis says that the process was simple and fast. He got through the interviews and was quickly able to start his adventure.

Once there, he set himself 3 goals: save, work and be calm and happy.

Although the beginning for many candidates is difficult, Jarbis adapted early and has never considered returning to Spain.

Now, in order to feel more integrated and continue to grow, he is studying Dutch and hopes to start communicating in this language sooner rather than later.

The only negative that Jarbis said was: “the only thing I can complain about is the weather, but when you come you know it.”

In the workplace, Jarbis already had experience working at Amazon, and his roles are now very similar to those he did there. Her work experience in Holland sums it up like this: simple work, good colleagues and a lot of respect.

As for his roommates, he tells us that they are a blessing and they are all a small family.

In his spare time, he likes to exercise, listen to music, shop or cook more elaborate dishes. Although he also admits that he and the kitchen are still not very close friends, and although he improves, there is always a friend nearby to help him out.

Finally, Jarbis recommends this experience always, as he sees it as an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. Now a friend of him is getting through the selection process and we sincerely hope they can be together soon.

As Jarbis says: “there are many people who do not want to leave their comfort zone and that is why we are other people who fill ourselves with courage and jump into this experience”.

We want to thank Jarbis for his time in the interview and it has been a pleasure to hear from a candidate with such positivity and impeccable attitude. We hope your goals are met and that everything continues to go so well.

La storia di Veronica.

Opinion trabajo Holanda

Coming from Uruguay, our candidate today, Verónica, a woman full of energy, undertook her adventure with TenS Holland with a very clear objective: to improve her quality of life.

So it is more than two months since Veronica started her new life in the Netherlands. From the first moment, our international recruiter Elena, advised her and accompanied her throughout the process. “Elena is a genius,” says Veronica.

Why the Netherlands? Fate put this place in the way and grabbed it. Elena gave him the just arguments she needed to dive headlong into the unknown and open a new chapter in her life.

At the beginning it was difficult, at the end of the day it is a very different
culture from ours and the culture shock is evident. She tells us how she spends her days with the translator in hand, something that for many is tiring, she defines it as “fun”. And it is that, “you come to join and adapt.”

On the other hand, she especially notes the dismissive treatment regarding transportation. It is certainly something that we must solve.

However, despite many of the obstacles that stood in her way, she did not give up and followed the advice of our colleague Elena, who has become very supportive.

Opinion trabajo Holanda

Not being happy with her accommodation, she chose to move in together with three other colleagues whom she met for being “questionable” and now, as she tells us, she is “happy”. And it is that Verónica has it very clear: “people to complain there are everywhere, one has to adapt, it is part of life”.

When it comes to her work, she loves going to work. There is a great atmosphere where everyone respects each equally.

On the other hand, as a sociable and mischievous person that she is, she has not had any difficulties when it comes to making friends and meeting people. In addition, she likes to frequent a bar near her old residence, which is attended by many young people of different nationalities and where she can have a good time.

In spite of her missing her family, the food and her beloved “mate”, she does not consider returning to her country. “I am living in a beautiful way, here the people are polite, friendly, they help you and you know that you can go quietly down the street at any time.”

She appreciates the opportunity that we give to all people, especially the not so young, to be able to develop professionally, something very difficult in these times.

Her plan in life is that there is no plan.

Verónica, we greatly appreciate the time you have dedicated to telling us about your adventure. We wish you the best in your new life there. You are an inspiration!

And you? Would you like to live a similar experience? We will be delighted to welcome you so you can enjoy the same opportunity as Verónica. Do not wait more!
