A história de Gabriela

“TenS chose me.” This is how the interview begins with our candidate Gabriela, from far away Argentina, who wanted to try her luck outside of Spain, where she had lived in recent years.

Gabriela tells us that, despite loving Spain in all its forms, she wanted to “feel abroad”. In addition, she was not happy with the job options our country offered her, so she decided to try her luck outside of it.

When the process with T&S began, our candidate felt the most common fears, because “nobody assures you that everything will be real”. However, she was not afraid or distrustful of our services. In this, our international recruiter Yan, had a lot to do with it. Yan accompanied her throughout the entire procedure: “he was very kind and attentive, the trust that he transmitted to me was what pushed me to take the leap”.

The moment of landing on Dutch soil was a whirlwind of emotions: she was leaving one life behind to start another completely different and alone.

As he tells us, the arrival was very chaotic, since communication with the carrier was not easy at all since he did not speak English. We will certainly work to improve this service.

She tells us that she is happy with her home, which she shares with a Polish couple and a Venezuelan girl. While it is true, she tells us that, despite being polite and clean people, they have very different customs. She would like them to put people of the same nationality or similar cultures together, since living together would be more enjoyable.

With regard to work, which she arrives by walk, she feels very comfortable. Despite the fact that the Dutch are more distant, they are all very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

But the best thing is the group that she has created with her coworkers: “I came across very good people who are worthwhile.” The Canary Islands, Ecuador and Argentina are the places of origin of her new friends, her new family.

On the other hand, what she misses the most about Spain is the people. That salty touch that we Spaniards have. The ability to talk to anyone. In fact, for her, the culture shock is very strong.

Finally, despite the fact that she would change certain details such as planning or the transportation issue, Gabriela recommends this experience.

And you? Would you like to live a similar experience? We will be delighted to welcome you so that you can enjoy the same opportunity as Gabriela. Do not wait more!
